Another season with FC St. Pauli in the Bundesliga was refused Morgan Guilavogui (27) after the veto of its objective club goal. But even with the French club of the first division, the future of the attacker does not seem to be. According to a report, negotiations on a permanent transfer go to England.
After the round trips which give senses for Saint-Pauli in June, Guilavogui could continue at FC Southampton, as reported by the transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano. The clubs, on the side of the saints with the Spors of Heidelberg Johannes, have already agreed in the conversations, but not yet agreed on a transfer. The national player of 21 times Guineas is still contractually linked to the target by 2027 and has been able to increase his market value by 3 million to 4 million euros despite a long injury time in Hamburg. With six goals, Guilavogui was the top scorer of the objective of the weak promoter – more than 21% of the total FCSP scorer.
After the season, St. Pauli had activated a purchase option for the loan player, but could not plan the attacker due to a buyout clause. Lens actually activated its own contract option, received 3 million euros from the Kiezklub, but even reimbursed 4.5 million euros. St. Pauli then decided again for a loan in position. With Andréas Hountondji (23), there was not a player different from the Premier League promoted FC Burnley, with which the new possible Guilavogui club exchanged the league at the end of last season.
For Guilavogui, second division (Site notre bureau spécialisé) would generally not be a new experience. At Paris FC, he participated in Ligue 2 in three seasons and contributed eleven or 15 goals in the second and third season. Guilavogui was the most used as a right wing in St. Pauli, but also played on the left and several times centrally.
So far, Southampton has only been strengthened with former Cologne Damion Downs (21, for 8 million euros) after relegation to the attack. On the other hand, Kamaldeen Sulemana (23, Atalanta) for 17 million euros, Samuel Amo-Oameyaw (18, Strasbourg) for 7 million euros and Paul Onuachu (31, Trabzonspor) for 5.7 million euros.
