In fact, yesterday, I even thought to know if at some point in SSV, you will always be brooding and Wörle may not be released at some point to « try everything » in terms of relegation. But I really didn’t believe it, simply because it was extremely good in shape with the SSV or the team and Wörle.
Especially since almost everything went perfectly in the previous two years and it was therefore not possible to expect a team, which – naturally – has no second division level, continues forever.
The crisis and offices of the 2nd Bundesliga were in fact already marked. And yet, I think we all expected the SSV, but we also expected a few additional points and victories. So not only hoped, but really expected.
And felt in almost all matches lost at least one point and with each equality with a little more luck, also a trio in it. It actually speaks for the team and for Wörle.
On the other hand, too often, the pendulum is not on the side of the SSV … Only what you conceded in the final phase (from the minute 75/80) – it is really incredible and really left me to despair, especially in the past few weeks.
Although I would describe myself as an (realistic) optimist, the hope of staying in the league dropped radically after the last two or three games. And despite the relatively low deficit of four points on Braunschweig and Münster. According to the latest games, it simply solidified the feeling that the team forgot that – for any reason.
Consequently, I can already understand the exit if I do not like to say it and fundamentally someone who wants the continuity of the coach bank and sees a key to success and therefore often finds coaches as hasty or even insignificant. Especially with previous successes like here at SSV Ulm and Wörle. But as I said, because of my explanations above, I can somehow understand the decision.
In order to return to my thoughts already mentioned above of a dismissal (always possible) in Wörles. I thought that if you decide against a discharge and in case of an emergency, I should also start with Wörle, you should start the third season with him. Everything else would not really make sense.
Then, I wondered how would you react if the SSV would put a false start in Ligue 3 (which is in no way impossible, because some regular players would leave the club with a relegation) and say after ten to twelve days of match behind expectations-would you continue to trust Wörle? Or would he be released?
Since I came to the conclusion that the latter would probably have been more likely to have been done, I have returned to now and I thought, it might not be better to cut now and perhaps with the « new impulse » very qualified by the hope of always packing the relegation!?
Of course, I did not find a clear answer for myself and I know that it was a lot « and if » and the worst case.
But I say, I prefer that Wörle can remember him as a success coach instead of the one who managed the club, but also again.
So, and in the end, I would like to say that a thing is of course very clear: Thomas Wörle was an absolute blow of luck for SSV Ulm and the two climbs in two years are very closely linked to his name and he will thus remain!
And I think everyone in the club is really grateful. They are certainly the fans anyway. This can certainly be seen in the first reactions of his release.
