Quebecois Kollide is enjoying a solid breakthrough in the United States in 2024, with its Gladiator ATK (Site notre bureau spécialisé) helmet, which has found its way into the locker rooms of 24 NFL teams. Now its latest addition, the Apache, has risen to the top of an essential American benchmark ranking.

The most recent model from the Montreal-based protective structures innovation company complies with the 5-piece rating in the Virginia Tech box class.
This reinforces the collision position as a must-have in the area of effectiveness and safety when it comes to protection against blows to the head. The thorny issue of concussions is a good example in (Site notre bureau spécialisé) and in sport in general.
“Virginia Tech is an independent laboratory that carries out impact tests on helmets. The Quebec company uses 3D printed structure technology for its helmets, with the material for the interior of the helmets being made from recyclable materials.
With the new Apache model, the Collide will be able to reduce the risk of the case, to achieve the same level of comfort and safety.
It’s clearly mission accomplished, in light of the results conferred by Virginia Tech’s ranking.
“The finishing number is in an independent class which is recognized for the development of innovation through the cases and not the object of collisions which cause rents in different sports. “We can wear them in coffins, but also in all protective equipment,” specifies Mr. Gaudreau.
In the NFL and elsewhere
The Golden Eagles of Dalbé-Viau secondary school are part of the school programs that trust the Gladiator ATK model, from Kollide.

In the NFL, Collide helmets are part of team inventory. The players then make your choice of personnel with the available stock and already, around fifteen of them have turned to the Gladiator TK model.
“Year 2024, with our commercial partner LIGHT Helmets, which distributes the technology in the United States, was an introductory one. In 2025, on the verge of a year of conversion, therefore being able to increase the pool of players who will wear our helmets during training and official matches,” explained Éric Gaudreau.
Beyond the NFL, Collide intends to seduce the Canadian market, both for the school component and for the college and university components.
“The NFL is not a step in the professional sector. Our biggest but is to completely bring our technology. That’s why we’re working hard to make helmets ever lighter and more affordable for Canada,” said the company’s president.
