The France team are set to meet England in the quarter-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup on Saturday. France will be led by Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe, who is coming off a quality performance against Poland in the Round of 16 where he scored two goals.
As reported on the official Ligue 1 website, France manager Didier Deschamps could once again call on Mbappe to play as Les Bleus’ left-winger.

Mbappe took on the role of left winger in France’s 3-1 win over Poland. The PSG star completed six successful dribbles and also created two goal-scoring chances for his teammates in the contest.
In the upcoming clash between France and England, Mbappe could continue to face Manchester City full-back Kyle Walker on the flanks. The two have a lot of history with each other, including their duels in both UEFA Champions League group stage games between Manchester City and PSG last season.
The winner of this meeting between France and England will face either Portugal or Morocco in the semi-finals of the World Cup.
