The European League title is available in a 100% English version between Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa. Real Betis and FC Porto are at the door!
OL and Losc would not have fared well in the final four of the Europa League but we ultimately find two Premier League clubs, a Bundesliga team and a Portuguese representative in the semi-final of the second European Cup.
The clash between Aston Villa and Bologna largely turned in favor of the formation of Unai Emery. Already 3-1 winners in Emilia-Romagna, Lucas Digne and his teammates got the ball rolling at Villa Park with goals from Ollie Watkins (16th), Emiliano Buendia (26th), Morgan Rogers (39th) and Ezri Konsa (89th).
Things are going well for Thiago Silva
Aston Villa, 4th in the Premier League, beat Nottingham Forest, 16th in the English champions. Forest offered the scalp of FC Porto in preference to a first match with the exclusion of Portugal’s Jan Bednarek (8th) and the advantage of the score of Morgan Gibbs-White (12th). The Dragons of Thiago Silva (41 years old), Pablo Rosario, Seko Fofana and Terem Moffi are not waiting for extension.
The other half will pit Braga against Fribourg. The northern Portuguese club created a surprise with an impressive 4-2 victory over Real Betis. The Andalusians nevertheless led 2-0 thanks to Antony (13th) and
Abdessamad Ezzalzouli (26th)! Fribourg, won 3-0 by Celta de Vigo last season, scored three times again in Galicia (1-3) this evening, with a double from Yuito Suzuki. The semi-finals are scheduled for April 30 and May 7.
