Salt City Soccer Club - Scholarship ApplicationThe Salt City Soccer Club will award up to four $500.00 scholarships annually.  Our organization wishes to acknowledge players who, through their efforts have promoted and exemplified the spirit of soccer and who plan to continue their education in an accredited post-secondary college, university, or vocational school.  Scholarships will be awarded to individuals who are current members in good standing and have participated in the Salt City Soccer Club Program for a minimum of two years.  

The application form outlines the criteria used to determine the recipients, including academic achievement, citizenship, character and soccer contribution.  All selection committee members have no affiliation with the applicant and/or applicant's club team.  The application form can be found on the forms page or by clicking on the application form link or Salt City Soccer Scholarship image above.

What's New  - Syracuse Soccer Fan ClubJune 2008 General Meeting - Significant Notes:

Tournament News:  July 26-27, 2008.  U12s will play 9v9, but competitively and can roster up to 18 players.  To date, 81 teams have applied and we are still awaiting numerous local teams.

Reminder:  The high school fields will be unavailable due to maintenance.  Other than Morgan Road and Wetzel, we plan on assigning the fields as follows:

  • U10-U11 Town of Clay Central

  • U12 Morgan Road and possibly Wetzel Road

  • U13-U14 Willowfield Elementary

  • U15-U16 Taft Road (North Syracuse Junior High) w/Sterns Road as backup

  • U19 Town of Clay South and Linares Field

Brad @ Embassy Suites will be coordinating the hotel rooms for the club (see tournament web page).  He'll find rooms for our guests, not just @ Embassy Suites.
